Your fractional brand management partner

For businesses that need a designer on their team but not a full-time employee. We become your embedded, fractional brand management partner producing what you need, month after month, and steering strategy as your business grows.

Brand Management

A professional designer on your team, without hiring a full-time employee

You know that one person who ends up doing the design work even though that’s not remotely their job? The admin person or your spouse who’s good at Canva?

They do it because you don’t have a graphic designer on staff and you don’t have enough hours or budget to hire one full time.

Enter a fractional brand partner. It’s someone who proactively shows up consistently, tackles your design and strategy monthly and delivers professional finished files. It doesn’t require you to re-explain your business every time because you work with a dedicated designer who gets to know your business.

It’s time to remove design from your to-do list so you can focus on what you need to.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Product-based businesses with a constant stream of packaging, launch, and marketing assets needed.

Growing service businesses that need a steady cadence of on-brand collateral, without hiring in-house

→ Founders who’ve already done the strategy and/or identity work (with us or elsewhere) and now need a partner to keep it running

→ Teams who want one person who understands your brand and not a rotating cast of freelancers

What it looks like to work together

STEP ONE

We start with a deep-dive into your brand: existing guidelines, upcoming launches, recurring asset needs, and how you like to communicate.

During our initial call we’ll determine budget, estimate hours and create a custom package suitable to your needs.

One flat monthly fee. One invoice. No surprises.

STEP TWO

We have a monthly strategy session to plan the month(s) ahead. Then we produce the assets your business actually needs from social templates, launch collateral, packaging refreshes, sales decks, print materials, whatever your pipeline calls for.

STEP THREE

You have all of your assets designed and finished on your timeline. One less thing on your to-do list every month (or your non-designer employee who gets shafted with the work!)

FAQ

How is this different from a design retainer?

A retainer is hours-for-hire. Brand Management is a relationship, we’re steering strategy and protecting brand consistency, not just executing a bunch of requests.

We can look at what you do have in place and build them as part of onboarding, or we may point you to Brand Design first if you need a fuller foundation.

Typically 3 months, however, most of our clients stay on for 1+ years. It’s all up for discussion and based on your needs.

A very limited number, on purpose (currently two for long term commitments). Ask about current availability on your Clarity Call.

Big foundational work like a new Visual Identity, Logo, or full Branding project is scoped as its own project first. It’s a different kind of project than the month-to-month upkeep Management hours are built for. Once that foundation’s in place, we roll you into ongoing Management to keep it consistent and current.
